1944 helped founds ANC

1952 opened first black law firm 

1960 change the whole political climate 

19962 arrested

1990 release from prison

1993 awarded the Nobel peace prize 

1994 he was elected president of South Afriac

1994-1999 was president of South Africa

 

2013 died

Whilst at university Nelson Mandela became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of South African Society.

1980 was travelling all over the world to help set up eye health

1989 know he wouldn't live to see all his ideal happen
